Biography

Dr. Md. Abul Kalam Azad is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Business and Technology Management (BTM) of Islamic University of Technology (IUT), Bangladesh. He has been awarded his Doctor of Philosophy from University of Malaya, Malaysia with Bright Spark Scholarship in 2018. He completed MSc in International Finance and Banking from University of Bedfordshire, UK in 2011. He completed BBA and MBA in Finance and Banking from International Islamic University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. He has over 13 years of teaching experience in different renowned universities in Bangladesh. Moreover, he worked as a visiting professor at University of Bedfordshire. He has extensive research work experience on bank efficiency and risk management. Till today, he has more than 25 published articles in Web of Science indexed journals. He has also been working in five journal editorial body in the capacity of member of editor, editor assistant and editorial advisory board nationally and internationally. His current research interest is in artificial intelligence and machine learning in business.  He is a big fan of learning foreign language.
