Prof. Dr. Azad is an experienced educator and researcher with over 18 years of national and international experience, teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.His academic journey includes a BBA and MBA from IIUC, a Master’s from the University of Bedfordshire, UK, and a PhD from the University of Malaya, Malaysia.He began his professional career in 2006 at Standard Chartered Bank before transitioning to academia at IIUC. In 2017, he joined the Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology (BAIUST), Comilla, where he served in leadership roles, including Head of the Department of Business Administration and Acting Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies. He played a key role in developing important institutional policies and committees at BAIUST.His research focuses on optimization, risk management, and financial sector sustainability. He has published over 100 research articles in top indexed journals such as the Journal of Banking and Finance. He is currently an editor for seven scholarly journals.Prof. Azad has received numerous accolades, including the Chancellor Award, the Bright Spark Scholarship for PhD studies, and the Best Professor of Business Award from CMO Asia.
