Dr. Md. Nahin Hossain
Assistant Professor
Dr. Md. Nahin Hossain serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business and Technology Management, IUT. He has more than 10 years of experience in teaching and research at the graduate and undergraduate
levels. Assist. Prof. Nahin completed his Doctoral degree from the School of Management (AACSB-accredited), Huazhong University of Science & Technology, Wuhan, China. During that time, he worked as a research fellow and was awarded a fully-funded CSC (Chinese Government Scholarship) scholarship. As a researcher, he published several articles in scholarly journals such as Foresight, Technology in Society, Journal of National University USA, Vine
Journal of Knowledge Management, Higher Education Skills and Work-based Learning, etc. These journals are nationally and internationally recognized and published by Emerald, Elsevier, Taylor & Francis. Journals are indexed in
Scopus, SCI, ESCI, ABDC, and ABI. His research interests include technology management, distance education, m-learning/e-learning for social inclusion, and technology adoption. He also serves as a reviewer for
peer-reviewed journals like IRRODL (Athabasca University, Canada), Foresight, Bottom Line, Higher Education Skills, and Work-based Learning. Currently, he is working on two projects in collaboration with the University of Tabuk, KSA. Mr. Nahin completed his BBA (Management) & MBA (HRM) from Dhaka University. He then worked for 3.8 years as a faculty member at the University of Information Technology and Science (UITS) and for 2.9 years at the Army Institute of Business Administration (Army IBA). Therefore, he has pleasant communication skills in conducting classes and guiding students to attain their desired goals. He is a member of Association of Information System (AIS-US). Recently, He is also working as Research Director of AIS-BD chapter.
