The Department of Business and Technology Management is delighted to announce a significant curriculum overhaul for our upcoming students. With the aim to ensure that our students are prepared to tackle the challenges of a rapidly evolving tech-focused world, the new curriculum follows a comprehensive approach to bridging the gap between technology and business.

𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐬: To get acquainted with modern tech, the curriculum has designed courses in Computer programming, Data base management, Business system analysis and design, Business data analysis and machine learning, Artificial intelligence in business, Management information system, and Technology management. With our technology-focused courses, students will learn how to harness data-driven insights and leverage technological advancements to drive growth and efficiency in business operations.
𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐬: Our comprehensive business courses will now cover essential topics of Enterprise resource planning, Entrepreneurship, Supply chain and operations management, Project management, Strategic management etc. To provide the students with a hands-on learning experience, the curriculum has also incorporated business labs for the aforementioned courses. These modules will provide a solid foundation for effective decision-making, strategic planning, and innovation within a business context.
As industries rapidly evolve and embrace technological advancements, it is imperative for our graduates to possess the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in this dynamic landscape. We believe that our well-rounded curriculum will enable our students to approach business challenges from a holistic perspective and help them thrive in an evolving world full of interdisciplinary challenges.

Program Description
The Bachelor of Business Administration in Technology Management comprises of four years of study consisting of eight consecutive semesters of sixteen weeks duration for each. The course curricula contain business and technology management of high level as well as components for hands-on-experience to produce BBA graduates of international standard with technological know-how having relevance to the development needs of the Member States. Specifically, the curriculum focuses on an array of topics including accounting, marketing, human resource, management and technology. As these topics require a strong background in mathematics and commerce, a number of courses on Mathematics and Commerce have been included in the syllabus. Moreover, to make the syllabus a balanced and complete one, courses on Social science, Islamic history, Programming, and Communication skills development have been incorporated. After the completion of six semesters, the students will undergo an internship program which will enhance their knowledge in industry level. The course curricula are under constant scrutiny and review and continuously updated to meet the current needs and requirements. The levels and contents are always kept at international standard.
Brief Curriculum
The department offers a modern curriculum for a 4-year Bachelor of Business Administration in Technology Management degree program focusing on business and management principles and methods, exposure to state of the art technology, and the opportunity to work on exciting problems with real-world impact. Total 150.75 credit hours are awarded to the students for graduation, and this must include the specified core courses. These total credit hours are distributed in eight semesters, two semesters in each year. The first two year’s courses include basic commerce, humanities, technology courses and introduction to fundamental areas of business administration. The third year covers the core business and management related courses along with required electives to enhance the knowledge base of the students. Finally, in fourth year, students will get specialized courses and they get to choose from diverse optional courses from specialized areas according to their particular interest.
